[GVE] Confrontation System

A faction war involves the constant confrontation of two warring parties for leadership in the game world. But what is this war worth if the winner receives no reward for his achievements and does not even understand what the battle is about? The lack of any specific goal for all deprives the whole faction of the unity we intend to achieve.
To solve this problem, we have implemented a faction confrontation system, which should become the main guide for the entire game on GVE in the future. Thanks to this system, players have a purpose to the battle, as the actions of each character affect the overall outcome of the Confrontation.

Each player who reaches level 76 has the right to participate in the global faction war and earn/loss points due to their actions.
Players can earn points through their actions in faction warfare:

  • Killing an opposing faction player: +1 point
  • Destroying an enemy outpost: +5 points (all within 2000)
  • Grabbing an Artifact: +25 points (all within 2000)
  • Grabbing an Artifact on an Upgrading Event: +45 points (all within 2000)
  • Killing an Epic Boss: +100 (all faction members who have been in the boss lair for over 5 minutes)
  • Participating in a siege of the Fort: +10 points (for every 5 minutes spent in the siege zone)
  • Participate in a Castle Siege: +20 points (for every 5 minutes spent in the Siege Zone)

Restrictions and Conditions

  • You may only earn points from level 76.
  • You cannot gain points for killing a player if the killed player had no points at that time.
  • In the siege zone, points are only awarded to living characters.
  • If the player has more than one living character in the siege zone, no points are awarded to any of them. If there is only one living character in the siege zone, points are awarded to that character.
  • For killing an Epic Boss, the reward is credited to one random character, if several characters of the same player qualify for the award.
  • Epic Boss kills are rewarded even if the character was not in the boss area at the time of the kill, but he qualifies for points.
  • When dying at the hands of a member of an enemy faction, the player loses 1 Confrontation point.


During the day (period) the points earned by both factions are counted and the winner of the current period is determined based on the results of the confrontation. Calculation of points is performed every day at 19:55 (GMT+3).You can see the number of points earned by both factions in the current period, as well as the total score of the confrontation, in the corresponding Alt+B menu box.

All members of the winning faction who have at least 1 Confrontation point at the time of the period's total score receive a reward, which depends on the number of points earned.
In total, there are 6 levels of rewards, which are given to all participants of the confrontation for the faction victory in the current period.The reward level is determined by the player's position in the overall faction rating, based on the points earned for the day.

All points earned by the player are automatically credited to the faction account for the current period, as well as to the character's personal account.
Points from the current personal account can be spent to learn additional skills that allow players to develop their character, reaching new levels of development.Each player has access to a personal Confrontation menu, where you can find information about the current period (the number of points earned, the level of reward), as well as learn new skills (starting with the 1st Level of Confidence).


By earning points for his faction, the player increases his own Trust Level, which determines the list of available skills to learn. To date, there are 5 Trust Levels, each of which gives the opportunity to improve new skills to a higher level.
Important information:

  • When a player learns a skill, the available points from his personal account are deducted, but the Trust Level does not drop.
  • When changing sides to another faction, all available skill points are retained.
  • If you move to another faction, all skills you have learned are saved.

With the Confrontation system, we give players a reason to unite within a faction to achieve one common goal for all, as well as updating all currently available mass events, improving the overall game dynamics and adding specific meaning to all battles.We plan to develop this system and, as mentioned before, our goal is to make it the central idea of the war between the two warring parties, basing some innovations on it, one of which we will introduce to you very soon.
